Obamacare did not improve health insurance. All it did was shift the issues of rising premiums and accessibility from one group to another. The self-employed, the independent contractor, the small business owner, are now the ones most effected. Those that are not part of a Group Plan and those that earn more than would qualify for a subsidy, as well as the many who may qualify but do not feel the Government should pay for their health premiums can no longer afford decent care nor find a doctor that would accept the plans available. Shifting the problem was never the correct answer. It is time to solve the problem instead of just looking for votes from a segment of the population.

Watching both the Democrats and Republicans approach Health Care is a good indication that we need a new Third Party to bring civility to our Government system. Whether 7 years ago or the past few months both parties showed that they truly do not represent the American people.  No matter what side of the aisle one might be on regarding Health Care, Taxes, Social Issues or any number of other items it is clear that the majority of Congress, the Media and Washington as a whole are more about The Show, than The Substance. A third-party could well bring a sense of balance and accountability to our Government Process. What once was a respected profession is now looked upon with skepticism, and in many cases disgust. Members of both parties seem to care more about winning than about helping the American people. It is time for the hard-working, respectful, understanding American people to take a seat at the table and let the existing parties in power know that they can no longer represent their own interests but rather those of their peers, neighbors and fellow citizens.

When a CEO takes over a failing business it does not turn around overnight.   In 6 months President Trump has had some immediate successes and some that will take time.  Regardless, the environment in Washington has been shaken and even the Media is now being scrutinized and held accountable.  Donald J Trump was elected because people wanted a non-politician to shake things up and try a different approach.  The 8 years of bad policy and division will take time to improve. The end result is what counts not necessarily the bumps and bruises during the process while a new foundation is being built.  Carry on Mr.  President.

The Democrats keep using the narrative that the Russians “undermined” our Democracy. Our elections did not change because of any hacking. Countries, including the United States, have tried to influence leaders around the globe for centuries. Technology brings a different level than just money, power and military pressure. Our Democracy is even stronger today because of our election. In spite of any outside influence the election of 2016 ended with the results chosen through following the  Constitution, electoral college, and the rest of the process. We are almost at a year since the Obama administration became aware that other countries were trying to have an influence on the election.  The alarm didn’t sound until after the Democrats lost. If those screaming the loudest don’t believe that many countries tried to get Carter re-elected because of his foreign policy weakness or that Obama had countries helping him because of his very liberal views, they are kidding themselves. Whether through money, influence, technology or other means there will always be outside influence but we must also accept that America is guilty as well. Noriega was a prime example, as he had worked with the CIA before gaining power and we ended up with egg on our face.  We can go back as far as The Shah of Iran, who was given power by the Allied forces. So to the crying Democrats, stop the hypocrisy. Our Constitution is set up to thwart outside influences so our nation can continue to be Ruled BY THE PEOPLE and FOR THE PEOPLE.

The 4^th of July reminds us that we are Americans first before any political party or differences on social or economic issues.  Our country’s men and women fought for freedom from a monarchy and although we have made mistakes as a nation since our beginnings we are still the envy of the rest of the world. As one of the youngest countries we have grown to being one of the most powerful and influential in history. We should never forget that if not for those that fought for our freedom we would not have the opportunities we have now.  Although there are  disagreements throughout the country and even some that may  express themselves in ways that may be considered over the top or even offensive it is because of our freedoms that they may do so. So to all politicians, the media and even our neighbors let’s not forget where we came from and remember that a nation whose citizens have the same goal can accomplish anything even if they have different ideas on how to get there.  GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Politicians have always attacked one another over policy, words, and even personality but it was September 9^th, 2016 that presidential candidate Hillary Clinton changed the narrative of political campaigns, exposed the true ideology of the Democratic Party and sealed her defeat in the election of 2016. Her comments, speaking at the LGBT Gala in New York City, Clinton said that Trump’s supporters were “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic” and that Trump supporters belong in a “basket of deplorables.”

Americans will always have various opinions and will even differ on certain ideas even with a candidate they support. However, when they are told if they believe a certain way or support a candidate then they are a bad person, the narrative changes. Democrats continue to believe they are the only “true, righteous” party. New DNC chair has mentioned that if a Democrat, you must also support Abortion. We heard Bernie Sanders tell an appointee that he is not what America needs because he has strong Christian Beliefs. We have seen this anger and division spread to the Media, Hollywood and Every Day Citizens.  The shootings of Republicans on a ball-field are a direct result of this arrogance. Now we hear this rhetoric from Democrats regarding health care. They call those that support the current bill “Killers of the Poor and Elderly”.

As a conservative, I hope the Democrats continue to promote their self- imposed “holier-than-thou” attitude as they will continue to lose elections both at the State and Federal Level. However, as an American, I wish they would become more tolerant and open as having a major political party be this divisive, intolerant, and influential is never good for the future of America.

The Democrat’s argument about health care is regarding Medicaid, for those who make little income.  The reason why the Democrats keep losing is because they never talk about helping  people move up the economic ladder. The Democrats want to keep the poor down and divide the nation. The argument is Biblical. Teach those to fish or keep giving them fish. The most in need will always be takin care of but let’s help more people move up and out of poverty. Trump is about jobs, the Democrats are about keeping people down.
